Refunds
If something is wrong, tell us. We will look at it with you.
Every dollar matters when you are building a company. We want you to know what you are paying for, and what happens if the work, the file, or the bill is not what we agreed.
We stand behind the work we promise. We listen to a real complaint, we check the facts, and we say clearly whether a refund is approved, declined, or still being reviewed. We would rather keep a founder for the long run than win a short argument.
Creative work
This covers product demos, launch films, founder-led films, startup content, reels, explainers, and other custom production. Custom work is made for you. A finished film is not the same as a file you can return unused, so the fair outcome depends on how far the work has gone.
- If we have not started, and you have paid, we refund what you paid for that project.
- If we have started but we have not sent you a meaningful piece of the work, you can stop the project and we refund what you paid.
- If a first draft is with you and it misses the agreed brief, we correct it. One correction against that brief is included. A new direction, or a new idea after you see the draft, is a change of scope. We tell you the new price before we continue.
- If the corrected work still materially misses the brief, we do not ask you to keep requesting edits with no end. We refund the price of the part that does not meet the brief. If none of it is usable for the job we agreed, we refund what you paid for that project.
- A change of mind after we have delivered the work described in the brief is not the same as a missed brief. We do not automatically refund a completed custom project because the plan changed later. If the delivered work does not match the brief, that is a delivery problem, and we treat it as one.
- If you cancel after production has started, we refund the amount paid for work we have not done. Work already completed stays billed.
- If we cannot finish the project, we refund what you paid for the work we do not deliver. If we delivered nothing you can use, that refund is the full amount you paid for the project.
Digital products
This covers ebooks, templates, guides, playbooks, and other files you download.
- If a file is missing, corrupted, inaccessible, not delivered after payment, or materially different from its description, tell us. We will send a working copy or refund what you paid for that product.
- A download can happen immediately. That does not block a complaint about a broken file or a product that is not what the page described.
- If you downloaded the file and then changed your mind, we do not automatically refund that purchase. If the law where you live gives you a stronger right, that right still applies.
Subscriptions and digital tools
This covers Aura Calendar and any other digital tool, whether you paid once or on a repeating plan.
- A one-time unlock is not a subscription. If that charge is wrong, duplicated, or the tool is not what we described, tell us and we will review a refund of that payment.
- If a product renews on a schedule, you can cancel from your account or from the link in your receipt. Cancelling stops future renewals. It does not, by itself, refund a period you already paid for.
- After you cancel a renewing plan, you keep access until the end of the period you already paid, unless we agree something else with you.
- A duplicate charge or a billing mistake is something we will correct once we confirm it. If a renewal happened and you did not mean to continue, write to us within 7 days, before that new period has been used in a real way, and we will refund that renewal.
- If the tool fails in a serious way during a paid period, we will extend your access or refund the time that was affected. We will tell you which one we are doing, and why.
If we do not deliver what we agreed
We get one fair chance to correct a miss, send what is missing, or agree another resolution with you. If we still cannot meet the brief, or we cannot meet our side of the purchase, a full or partial refund is the right outcome. You do not have to accept endless revisions when the work does not match what we agreed.
How to ask
Send a note through Live Support in your studio account, or use the email on your purchase confirmation. There is no form to fight through.
Tell us only what we need to find the purchase:
- Your name and the email on the purchase.
- The order or transaction reference, if you have it.
- The product or service.
- A short note on what went wrong.
- A screenshot or an example, if that helps us see the issue.
How long it takes
These are the times we work to. A bank or card company can take longer to show the money. That part is outside our hands.
- We aim to acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
- We aim to review it and send a decision within 7 business days of receiving the details we need. If we have to ask for something missing, that review starts when we have it.
- If we approve a refund, we aim to send it back to the original payment method within 10 business days of that decision.
- Your bank or payment provider may then take about 5 to 10 business days to show the funds. That delay is theirs, not an extra hold on our side.
How we decide
We look at this policy, what was agreed, what was delivered, and the law that applies to your purchase. A refund can be declined for a fair reason, such as a change of mind after a custom project was delivered as agreed. We will say which reason applies. We will not use this page to avoid a non-delivery, a product that was not as described, a broken file, or any other failure the law already covers.
If you talk to your bank
You are welcome to write to us first. That is usually the fastest way to fix a billing problem. Writing to us does not take away your right to ask your bank, card company, or payment provider to review a charge.
Where you live, and who took the payment
We sell to founders in Nigeria, the United States, the United Kingdom, and other countries. If a local rule gives you a stronger right than this page, that rule wins. This page does not replace mandatory consumer rights, digital-content rules, or the terms of the payment provider.
Some checkouts may be sold by a payment provider such as Paddle, which can be the merchant of record for that purchase. Their terms apply to that checkout as well. A refund we approve goes back through the same payment route. This page does not claim to satisfy every country's rules by itself. If a rule is stricter, we follow the stricter rule.
